Call for papers Special Issue on
Body Area Networks applications and technologies
Body Area Networks (BAN) technology has gained a strong international interest in recent years from researchers both in academia and industry. With the development of innovative wireless, wearable and/or implantable technologies, the applications for BAN covers from implanted monitoring and actuation to human computer interactions, healthcare, interactive games, fitness, sport and security.
This issue will explore the challenges of designing, building, and deploying BAN, will present some of the enabling technologies for BAN and will more generally address the BAN research and applications field.
